Scilla was found in Xilokeratidi in August 2008. She was very small and thin, clearly undernourished. She had already lost one eye from a major infection, which was now spreading to the second eye. We immediately took her into our program, fed her, gave her antibiotics, and treated her eye. She also received vaccinations and treatments for parasites. Lucky for her, the second eye was saved! Scilla was adopted and travelled to US in September 2008. Her American vet explained that she was already 5 months old when she was found, but looked so small due to being severely undernourished.
